Let’s Go Hiking: The Appalachian Trail with Virginia State Parks

Description provided by HCPL: Virginia is home to 544 miles of the Appalachian Trail- more miles than any other state. Explore sections of the Appalachian Trail that fall within three Virginia State Parks with park educators, who will also discuss hiker safety, preparedness, and essential gear for day hikes.

This event is part of our program series in anticipation of All Henrico Reads with Cheryl Strayed. Sponsored by the Friends of Henrico County Public Library.
